RESERVATIONS:     Reservations     through     tour operators or travel agencies should be made 7 days prior to departure. A complete Reservation Form and a 30% deposit are required in order to confirm the reservation.

FULL PAYMENT must be deposited 48 hours prior to departure, in US dollars on the name of Bala Tours according to the bank information stated below. Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz S.A., Avenida Camacho Nº1448, bank  account  Nº  4010537446. The  bank  code  from foreign countries is SWIFT: MERBBOLXSCZ.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: Cancellation is only effective upon receipt of written notification. If the cancellation is made after the due date for full payment of your trip fare, additional charges will be levied.The scale of charges, expressed as a percentage of the trip price, is as follows: 2 days prior to departure: 35%; on departure day: 85%. Should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no tour fare refund will be made.

INSURANCE:   The   sole   responsibility   lies   with the guest to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive   travel   and   medical   insurance   to cover themselves for the duration of their tour. LIABILITY RELEASE: Participation in the tours requires good general health, because during the same walks and tours are conducted by boat or vehicle for up to 5 hours. Any limitations or physical impairment, as well as allergies and special dietary requirements, must be reported to Bala Tours when requesting the reservation. Rurrenabaque is an area free of malaria and yellow fever.

FLIGHT  DELAYS AND  CANCELLATIONS: Flights to and from Rurrenabaque may suffer delays and/or   cancellations   when   weather   conditions   are not  appropriate,  especially  during  the  rainy  season. Bala Tours is not responsible for any airline schedule changes  or  cancellations. Air  schedule  changes  may necessitate additional nights being added to your stay in Rurrenabaque. Bala Tours cannot be held liable for any delays or additional costs incurred as a result of airlines or bus companies not running to schedule.

TOUR ITINERARY CHANGE: Although every effort is made to adhere to schedule, it should be noted that Bala Tours may be obliged to occasionally change tour itinerary as dictated by weather or social conditions, beyond the company’s control, in order to guarantee
