Early morning departure by boat from Guanay, famous for gold washing in the river. Boat ride on Kaka river until mid-afternoon passing the other gold-washing villages. Camping on the beach and dinner.
Breakfast and boat ride down the Beni River. At this point the river separates two protected areas, the Pilon Lajas Biosphere Reserve and Madidi National Park. The area is home of the many bird species, including the Militay Macaw, one of the many large parrots that inhabit the area. Lunch in the Beu Canyon area. In the late afternoon, we will arrive to Tacuarales Ecolodge, located in Madidi National Park.
After breakfast, visit to Caquiahuara, where many macaw and parrot species nest and lick clay. Hiking along an interpretative trail. Lunch at the lodge. After resting on hammocks, boat ride to Rurrenabaque.Arrival at late afternoon.
