Early departure by a transport from Rurrenabaque to the community of San José de Uchupiamonas, located inside Madidi National Park. The ride takes around 4 hours. Lunch and visit to the community.
After breakfast, we take the inflatable boats to raft down the Tuichi River. On the way, we can observe incredible landscapes and the well-preserved rainforests of Madidi National Park. Later rafting routine on inflatable boats to quietly explore both sides of the river until late in the afternoon. Camp and dinner on the beach.
Early wake up to see the sunrise and listen to distant roaring of red-howler monkeys. After breakfast, rafting down the river. On the way we will stop and explore the rainforest in a short hike, where the guide will explain about medicinal and toxic plants, fruits, and seeds. Camp set on the riverside. Night walk in the jungle to observe nocturnal animals.
Day 4 and 5
Two full-days rafting the Tuichi River on inflatable boats, passing some small rapids. Camping on the beach. The fifth day we will arrive to Tacuaral Logde.
Morning visit to the Caquiahuara cliffs to observe macaws and parrots. Hiking along an interpretative trail. Lunch and rest at the lodge. Afternoon departure to Rurrenabaque by motor boat. Arrival around 5 pm in Rurrenabaque.
